Cookie & Storage Policy
Our website sets no cookies and uses no tracking. This policy explains the single entry we store in your browser's local storage and how you can remove it.
Last updated: October 14, 2026
Note: This English version is provided for convenience. Only the German version is legally binding (Ausschließlich die deutsche Fassung ist rechtsverbindlich).
1. No cookies
The website of Just Growing GmbH does not set any cookies, neither its own nor those of third parties. We do not use web analytics, tracking pixels, advertising technologies, social media plugins or embedded third-party content that could set cookies. Fonts are hosted on our own server. For this reason, we do not display a cookie consent banner.
2. Local storage (localStorage)
Apart from cookies, websites can store information in your browser's local storage. We use this option for exactly one purpose: when you close the announcement banner, your browser remembers this so that the banner does not reappear on every page.
| Name | Purpose | Storage duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| obs-banner | Stores that you have closed the announcement banner (value "switch-2026"), so it is not shown again. | Until you delete it in your browser; it does not expire automatically. | localStorage, first party, strictly necessary |
| obs-consent | Stores your choice in the privacy settings (essential, analytics, marketing) and the time of your decision, so the dialog is not shown again on every page. | 12 months, then you are asked again; you can change it at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer. | localStorage, first party, strictly necessary |
The entry is created only when you actively close the banner. It stays on your device and is never transmitted to us or to third parties. It contains no identifiers that would allow us to recognise you.
3. Legal basis
Storing this entry is strictly necessary to provide a function you have explicitly requested, namely hiding the banner. It is therefore permitted without consent under § 25(2) No. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG). To the extent that personal data is processed at all, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Further information can be found in our Privacy Notice.
4. How to delete the entry
You can delete the entry at any time. In most browsers, you do this by clearing the site data for our website, for example:
- Chrome and Edge: Settings, Privacy and security, Site settings, View permissions and data stored across sites, then delete the data for our domain.
- Firefox: Settings, Privacy & Security, Cookies and Site Data, Manage Data, then remove our domain.
- Safari: Settings, Privacy, Manage Website Data, then remove our domain.
Alternatively, you can remove the entry in your browser's developer tools under "Application" or "Storage". After deletion, the banner will be shown again on your next visit. Private browsing windows delete the entry automatically when they are closed.
5. Future changes
Should we introduce analytics or other technologies in the future that require consent, we will ask for your consent before any such technology is used and will update this policy beforehand. Until then, no consent is required for our website.
